The Watertown Senior and Community Center recently wrapped up two wonderful summer events that brought residents together for great food, fun, and fellowship.

On Friday, June 26, the Grill & Chill Cookout was a huge success, selling out completely and raising more than $1,500 to support senior center activities and programs. Attendees enjoyed brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, refreshing drinks, a popular bake sale, a 50/50 raffle, and pull tabs. Center members generously donated all bake sale items and volunteered their time to help run the event. Additional support came from community partners, including Glenn’s Kwik Trip. A heartfelt thank you to all the members whose participation through the 50/50 raffle and volunteering made the day possible!

On Thursday, July 2, the center hosted its festive 4th of July Bingo, complete with a holiday party atmosphere, special prizes, and plenty of patriotic spirit. Participants showed off their creativity during a walking parade of the most festive outfits, which were then voted on for fun recognition.
