Beginning on Tuesday, June 16th, the City of Watertown DPW – Street Division will close Market Street to through traffic from S. Fourth Street to S. Sixth Street for a storm sewer improvement project. The work is being completed in conjunction with the alley reconstruction project between S. Fourth Street and S. Fifth Street.

The street closure is expected to remain in effect for approximately one week, weather permitting.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses located within the construction area, and construction crews will assist with access needs as work progresses.

The City appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as these infrastructure improvements are completed.
