Watertown, Wis. (May 1, 2026) – Beginning Monday, May 4th, the City’s contracted Rout and Crack Filling contractor, Thunder Road will be performing crack filling work on the following streets:

It is expected that Thunder Road will complete crack filling work by Friday, May 15th, weather permitting. Streets will remain open during crack filling work, however there will be temporary lane closures during and shortly after the crack filling operations for the safety of the work crew. No Parking will be allowed on the streets to be crack filled during crack filling operations.
During construction hours, flaggers may be present on-site to guide traffic through the lane closure areas as the contractor’s trucks and equipment will be entering and leaving the work zones.
The City of Watertown urges motorists to “Give ‘em a Brake” by slowing down and driving with extra caution through the construction zone.
