Beginning on Monday, May 4th, Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) contractor, Integrity Grading and Excavation, will begin pavement removals on Dewey Avenue, which will be closed to through traffic. A detour for this closure will go into effect on May 4, 2026. Refer to the attached map for details. It is expected that the closure and detour will remain in effect for the duration of the project.
This reconstruction project is federally funded in part by the State of Wisconsin BIL STP-Urban grant program and is managed by WisDOT. The project scope of work includes new water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, road base, concrete pavement, and curb and gutter. The project has a completion date of August 31st, 2026.
Access will be maintained to residents within the closure area.
