Watertown, Wis. (November 4, 2025) –The City of Watertown is excited to kick off the holiday season with the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Bentzin Family Town Square on Saturday, November 15, 2025, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
This festive community event will feature Watertown High School Carolers filling the square with holiday cheer and a special performance from the Watertown Blue Revue dance team. Santa Claus will also make a special appearance to greet children and families!
The evening marks the official start of the 3rd Annual “Make Your Business Sparkle” Holiday Tree Decorating Contest, where local businesses showcase their creativity by decorating sponsored trees throughout the square. Guests are encouraged to stroll through the displays and vote for their favorite tree while enjoying the lights and music.
Free treats will be provided by Piggly Wiggly, Sweet Talking Treats, Sassy Sweets, and The Marquardt. Gypsy Brew will be on-site serving hot cocoa, coffee, and festive holiday beverages to help everyone stay warm as the tree lights up the night.
Join us as we count down together and celebrate the spirit of the season in downtown Watertown!
