Watertown, Wis. (August 15, 2025) – Water main installation on Oakwood Lane between Milford Street and Cobblestone Way is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, depending on weather conditions.
The City has contracted with Forest Landscaping & Construction Company, Inc. of Lake Mills, WI to perform the work. The work includes the installation of an 8” water main to complete a looped system from Milford Street to approximately 320’ westerly on Oakwood Lane where the new water main will connect to an existing dead end watermain. Oakwood Lane between Milford Street and Cobblestone Way will be closed to traffic during installation of the new watermain.
The project is scheduled to be completed by August 29, 2025.
The City of Watertown urges motorists to “Give ‘em a Brake” by slowing down and driving with extra caution through or near the construction zone.
