Watertown, Wis. (May 15, 2025) – Beginning on Monday, May 19th, City of Watertown Department of Public Works Street Division will begin reconstructing the downtown alley between S. First Street and S. Second Street. The alley will remain closed for the duration of the project.
The Alley Reconstruction includes providing roof drain connections to the storm sewer, installation of a new storm sewer catch basin on S. First Street and pouring new concrete pavement through the alley. The project is estimated to be completed within 6 weeks.
Additional Information: Access shall be restricted to businesses and residents within the closure area.
